Guido Pella (59 °) did not have a good debut in the ATP 250 of Mallorca in view of Stefano Travaglia (86th). The Italian beat him in straight sets 7-5 and 7-6 (4) and got into the second instance.
The Bahia native extended his losing streak in Mallorca after failing to beat Italian Travaglia. So far in 2021, he has only passed the first round in Munich and Roland Garros, accumulating a record of just two wins (Egor Gerasimov and Daniel Galán) and 12 losses.
The next tournament to be played by Pella will be Wimbledon, the Grand Slam in which he performed best in his career. In 2019 the Argentine reached the quarterfinals and was eliminated by Roberto Bautista Agut.
