All Euro 2020 Group B matches have been completed. Belgium went perfectly to win the last 16 ticket, while Denmark made a dramatic escape.
Belgium confirmed its dominance in Group B of Euro 2020 with a 2-0 win over Finland. De Rode Duivels won thanks to an own goal by Lukas Hradecky in the 74th minute and Romelu Lukaku’s goal in the 81st minute, in the match at Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg, Tuesday (22/6/2021) early morning WIB.
The victory ensured Roberto Martinez’s team qualified for the knockout stages with a perfect score of nine. Belgium scored seven goals in three games and conceded just one.
Two goals against Finland also helped Denmark qualify. Denmark came to the match against Russia at Parken Stadium, Copenhagen, as caretaker after losing the first two parties.
But appearing in front of thousands of supporters made Denmark go crazy to win 4-1. Goals from Mikkel Damsgaard, Yussuf Poulsen, Andreas Christensen and Joakim Maehle were only able to be answered by Russia through an Artem Dzyuba penalty.
One landslide victory was enough to make Denmark finish second and qualify for the round of 16 of the 2020 European Cup. Because they are ahead on goal difference (+2) in head to head with Finland (0) and Russia (-2).
