U2 schedules third Stade de France concert for May 2027

U2 Schedules Third Paris Stadium Concert for May 2027

U2 will perform a third concert at the Stade de France on May 9, 2027, following high public demand for the band’s upcoming European tour. The legendary Irish rock group, fronted by Bono and featuring The Edge, confirmed the new European dates on social media on October 29 following a series of surprise pop-up performances in Dublin on September 25 to mark their 50th anniversary.

Tour Dates and Venue Schedule

The newly announced European trek, officially titled “Carnaval De Luz Presents : The Greatest Show On Earth,” marks the group’s return to the live stage following their residency at the Las Vegas Sphere in early 2024. The itinerary covers stops in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, the UK and across Europe, including Stockholm, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Milan. For French audiences, the band originally scheduled two shows at the Stade de France in Paris for Wednesday, May 5, and Saturday, May 8, 2027, before adding the third Sunday date due to ticket demand.

Ticket Sales for the Paris Shows

Tickets for all three Paris stadium shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m., according to Live Nation. Pre-sale windows for the concerts have already concluded.

New Album and Live Setlist Expectations

The 2027 tour will showcase material from the band’s sixteenth album, Carnaval de Luz, set for release on November 13, 2026. The 12-track record follows Songs of Experience, released nine years earlier, and explores themes of spirituality, friendship, freedom, and resilience against dark and threatening forces. The group has already previewed the project by sharing the music videos for “Streets of Dreams” and “The Greatest Show On Earth”—the latter directed by Anton Corbijn—alongside the single “Silencio.” Alongside the new material, the band intends to perform classic catalog staples such as “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “With or Without You,” “Beautiful Day,” “Vertigo,” “New Year’s Day,” “Elevation,” and “Where the Streets Have No Name.”

General Ticket Sales on November 6

Tickets for the May 5, May 8, and May 9, 2027, Stade de France performances become available on Friday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m.
