Judo Club Legnano and Anffas Unite for Inclusive Sport Training

Judo Club Legnano and Anffas Legnano have renewed their monthly sports and inclusion initiative at the Cantù schools gymnasium, offering motor activity and social interaction for members of Anffas Legnano.

The regular Saturday meeting in mid-October brought together the masters of the Judo Club Legnano and a group of about twenty participants from Anffas, an association dedicated to supporting families and individuals with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Monthly Training Sessions at Cantù Schools

During the sessions, the participants engage in targeted exercises designed to provide moments of escape and physical movement. Nando Bizzarri, past president of Judo Legnano, noted that participant numbers have grown over the years.

Inclusive Sport and Social Activities

The initiative provides a space without competitive barriers or levels of division, allowing members to experience physical activity while connecting with others outside of their daily routines. Anffas volunteers coordinate activities on Saturday mornings—including sports, walks, and motor games—as well as playful and creative projects such as theater, music, and yoga on Wednesday afternoons. These programs also offer respite for parents, giving families free time while their members participate in a friendly environment.
