Eauze Judo Club Starts New Season With Strong Enrollment and New Coach

Judo Club in Eauze Rebounds With 69 Registered Members for the New Season

The judo club in Eauze, France, has officially kicked off its 2025–2026 sports season with 69 registered members, matching strong participation levels from the previous year, local media reported. Under the direction of coach Camille Bourdie, children, teenagers, and adults returned to the tatamis at the André Lafont dojo on Place René Cassin.

Club Leadership and Enrollment Details

Club president Joël Louge reported that the previous year was successful and that the current campaign has started on strong footing. With registration still ongoing, officials expect final sign-ups to mirror last year’s total of 69 athletes. Beginners meet on Mondays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM local time, while judokas aged 12 and older participate in physical training sessions from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. On Thursdays, the club hosts “babydo” classes for children aged 4 to 6 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM, followed by youth sessions for ages 7 through 11 and older teens until 7:45 PM. New participants can complete two free trial classes before committing to a full registration.

Black Belt Lea Fauché Steps Up to Assist Coaching Staff

Younger athletes training at the dojo will benefit from the presence of newly minted black belt Léa Fauché. Having earned her voluntary assistant professor certificate, Fauché now assists Bourdie with daily instruction. The departmental champion captured the top spot on the podium at the Occitanie regional championship and secured qualification for the French national tournament. “I like to invest myself in my club and be alongside the little ones to give them advice and assist Camille Bourdie,” Fauché said.
