While previous installations required up to four months, the most recent recovery period took approximately one week. Management also reported stronger root systems, asserting that roots now anchor more firmly into the surface to prevent dislodgement during matches. Officials noted that no turf came loose during the fixture against Persik Kediri.
Balancing Multifunctional Stadium Operations
Beyond immediate grass maintenance, stadium administrators are reviewing the venue schedule to balance football fixtures with concert events. Shinta explained that scheduling must account for adequate recovery time between large-scale public events and sporting fixtures. To support faster pitch restoration, operators have established a dedicated turf nursery and integrated modern maintenance technologies to supply replacement grass when needed.
