Tarragona’s Municipal Archery Range Reopens with Artificial Turf Upgrade

The renovation, which concluded just in time for a weekend competition, replaces the natural grass surface with artificial turf sourced from previously renovated municipal football fields. The event featured participation from local officials including Tarragona’s mayor Rubén Viñuales, Sports Councillor Mario Soler, TAU Archery Club president Sergio Ortega and world champion archer Elia Canales.
According to city officials, the upgraded facility will now be better equipped to host future archery competitions at various levels.
