Alain Lieb emerged victorious in the men’s singles competition, defeating Anthony Gonzalez in the final. Lieb, representing the Onet-le-Château Tennis Club (OCTC), proved too strong for his fellow club member. Consolation brackets offered further opportunities for competition. Gasc Amaury (Espalion) won the Consolante 4S men’s final against Pascal Villette (OCTC). Jérémy Pradalier (Laissac) emerged victorious in the Consolante 3S men’s final, defeating David Bes (OCTC). Camille Fraysse (Rodez) secured the Consolante 4S women’s title, besting Sylvie Dardenne (OCTC).
The tournament also highlighted doubles prowess within the region. Anthony Gonzalez and Laure Pradeilles won the departmental finals in mixed doubles, qualifying them for the regional phase. Noémie Dardenne and Sophie Cremers also achieved success, winning the departmental finals in women’s doubles and earning their own spot in the regional competition.
