The VVM (Vallées, Villages, Montagne) integration association took part in an original sports job dating at the pétanque and archery tournament in Tarascon-sur-Ariège. Tuesday January 27, 2026, the US Foix clubhouse hosted a unique event combining sport and employment: the pétanque and archery tournament organized by the “Companies s’engage” club. On this occasion, VVM took part in this morning dedicated to conviviality and professional meetings.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., business leaders and job seekers met in a relaxed setting, far from the formality of traditional interviews. The objective was clear: to encourage authentic exchanges and allow recruiters to identify new talents in a context different from traditional job dating. After a welcome time and a presentation of the morning’s objectives, the participants were divided into teams before competing in pétanque, archery and participating in a rifle shooting initiation. These sporting activities made it possible to quickly create connections, reveal interpersonal skills and facilitate professional discussions. The prize giving and the friendly buffet allowed these exchanges to continue in a warm atmosphere. By participating in this event, VVM reaffirmed its commitment to local employment and inclusion. For the company, this innovative format has proven to be a great opportunity to meet varied profiles, discover candidates in a different way and strengthen its roots in the region. This “different job dating” demonstrated that it is possible to combine economic performance and team spirit, by making sport a real vector of professional opportunities. The integration employees present were able to obtain positive proposals and hand-deliver their CVs.
