Léa Boujarel: Gard Archery Champion

Léa Boujarel, a 14-year-old Boissetaine, started archery in 2023 at the Arc-club of Saint-Christol, coached by Jean-Luc Dossal. Very quickly, she became passionate about this sporting discipline and really began competing in September 2024. The results quickly came as she won the regional outdoor championship in Cendras in U15 last summer and at the same time, she qualified for the French indoor and outdoor championships.

The 2025-26 indoor competition season has started and she ranks 2nd French in her category. She participated in the archery world championship in Nîmes, the Nîmes Archery, and reached the podium by winning silver in U15. A very good performance, very promising for the rest of the season.

During the departmental championship in Beaucaire, she won the U15 girls’ title. The club and its family are proud of this new title.

She will participate on February 7 in the regional championship in Auch and on February 21 and 22 in the French championship in Yzeure.
