Chennai, February 5 (Language) India’s Sasikumar Mukund, Manish Suresh Kumar and Manas Dhamane were given wildcards for the main draw of the Chennai Open tennis tournament on Thursday.
The Tamil Nadu Tennis Association (TNTA) will host the ATP Challenger 50 tournament featuring participants from 14 countries from February 9 to 15.
Britain’s world number 178 Jay Clarke is the top seed.
The Indian challenge will be led by Sumit Nagal who is ranked 281st in the world rankings.
TNTA President, legendary tennis player Vijay Amritraj said, “Organizing international tournaments like ATP Challenger helps Indian players perform better on the world stage. ”
