National Olympiad State Stage Begins

With the Archery competition, the state stage of the 2026 National Olympiad began.

The event is organized by the Sports Institute in coordination with the Potosina Archery Association and the stage, the Halcones Club.

The athletes of the Recurve Bow modality are:

Darío Guerrero, Jorge Armando Silva, María Fernanda Regino and Sofía Soler, 14 years old.

Roberta Nava and Aime Cifuentes in the 16 year old category; also Marco Loredo, Emilio Benavides, Santiago Lozano, Sofía Velazco and Larissa Gimmler in the 18 classification; with Dadid Sánchez, Kevin Herrera, Alonso Ramírez, Gary Díaz, María Fernanda Villegas, Angélica Coutiño and Maite Ruiz in the 21 years category.

Complementing with the goalkeepers of the under 24 category: Gabriel Martínez, José Antonio Benavente, Abigail Rodríguez, Samantha Loredo and Ana Benavente.

In the Recurve Bow modality, Fabiola Plata, Mauricio González, Olga Martínez and Alma Ortiz seek to qualify.

This Saturday’s day is the first of two state phases, the second and which will define the San Luis Potosí team that will go to the Olympics will take place in a month.

The National phase will take place in Tlaxcala as happened the previous year.
