Sunday, January 11, 2026 | Judo (news)

On January 11, 2026, ten young athletes from TSV Kronshagen competed in the Hermann Cup in Schwerin. In the U9, U11 and U13 age groups, the young judoka demonstrated their technical skills and fighting spirit under the leadership of coach Issa. The tournament highlights the sustainable training in Kronshagen’s Eichendorff Hall, which accompanies athletes from their first steps on the mat through to regional championships.

In the U13 age group, Kian confidently secured first place in the weight class up to 40 kg. The youngest starters also showed impressive performances in the U9: Rebecca (-20 kg) and Constantin (-44.6 kg) each won the gold medal, thus confirming their positive development.

Further podium places went to Daniel, who took second place in the U13 (-37 kg), and Nila, who also won silver in the U9 (-27.9 kg). Timur (U13, -37 kg), Laui (U13, +55 kg) and Liyan (U9, -25.9 kg) secured third places. Andreas took seventh place in a strong U13 field, while Jerik gained important competition experience in the U11.

A big thank you goes to the parents for their active support and for taking on the journey to Schwerin, which makes these successes possible.
