Döbelner SC Judo: Match Report & Results

Only Albert Hanke from Döbeln took part in the 29th International Sparkasse Cup for U11 and U15 in Jena yesterday. A total of 344 U11 and U15 athletes from 44 clubs competed on this day. 🥋

Albert Hanke had 12 opponents in his weight class. In the first fight he faced an opponent from Leipzig. Here Albert used O-Goshi and was able to wrestle his opponent to the ground, but there was no scoring. But he was then able to defeat him in the ground with Kesa-Gatame on Ippon.👏🏼

In the second fight, Albert had to prove himself against a CPSV fighter. Here he showed a Tani-Otoshi approach that was scored with Yuko and finally won in the ground with the Munegatame.💪🏼

In the fight for a place in the final, the opponent was an athlete from the Leipzig Sports Lions. Here Albert won with Tani-Otoshi, although the fight lasted longer because the competitors of course became stronger and stronger.

In the final, Albert met a judoka from Abensberg. He took the lead with an O-Goshi, but on his second approach he levered Albert while throwing, which was punished with Hansokumake.

Albert was therefore deservedly pleased with first place 🥇-congratulations!👏🏼
