“Talsu NSS/Krauzers” wins “FBK SĀC” in Adaži
“Talsu NSS/Krauzers” won a convincing victory in the ELVI floorball league for men, which tonight in Ādaži with 12:6 beat the team “FBK SĀC”. Rudolfs Niedrājs and Adrians Spunde scored four points each for the winners.
The scoreboard of the Ādažu sports center showed that not even five and a half minutes had been played, when the players from Talsin had already gained a considerable advantage – 4:0. Jānis Ragovskis, Mariss Bergmanis, Adrians Spunde and Rūdolfs Niedrājs put the ball in the Adažani goal. The home team was forced to request a 30-second timeout, but after that they recovered two goals – 2:4. The goals were scored by Dēvids Osītis and Alvis Dāle. At the end of the first period, the guests restored their four-point handicap – 6:2, goals scored by Kārlis Laukmanis and Tom Akmenlaukas. During the second third, the floorball players of Adaži came within three goals – 4:7. The last period was again much more productive by the players from Talsi, who scored five goals while conceding only two. “Talsu NSS/Krauzers” won 12:6.
Rudolfs Niedrājs, who has 4 (3+1) performance points, received the award for the best player among the winners. 4 (2+2) points were collected by Adrian Spunde, and three points each by Jānis Ragovskis and Maris Bergmanis. “Hat-trick” author Tomas Kristofers Birstinas was recognized as the best among the leather players. After this victory, “Talsu NSS/Krauzers” secured the 3rd place in the tournament table with 35 points. “FBK SĀC” of Adaž takes 7th place with 17 points.
