The Plouédern archery club organized from Friday December 12 to Sunday December 14, 2025, a shooting competition, qualifying for the regional. Lucas Wei, 13 years old, licensed in Plouédern for a year, was notably lined up. “I have been practicing recurve archery for four years. I started in Montfermeil in Ile-de-France. My big brother, Eric, and my big sister, Eva, started before me, that interested me. I recently arrived in Landerneau and the Plouédern club was the closest. I feel good there,” confides the one who plays in the U15 category. Placed 18 meters from a 60 cm target, Lukas Wei’s score in Plouédern was 510 out of 600, which corresponds to an average of around 8.5 points per arrow.
Olivier Durtette shone in Quimperlé
To progress, he can count on Olivier Durtette, 30 years old, former coach at the Montfermeil club and, also, who recently arrived in Landerneau. The latter continues his coaching with Lucas Wei. But it also evolves in competition. In mid-November, he even finished first in the senior 1 recurve category during the Quimperlé competition. In Plouédern, Olivier Durtette made 541 points at 18 m on a 40 cm target.
