Latvala company JML-WRT Oy has acquired the entire share capital of Printsport Oy from Eero Raikkonen. The Printsport team, which deals with the preparation and maintenance of rally cars, has achieved considerable success both in Finland and in the World Rally Championship (WRC).

“Acquiring Printsport Oy was a natural step for me. Printsport has proven its competence and the professional, passionate approach of the company’s employees combined with a strong competitive spirit is something I have always admired.” on the portal rallyjournal.com quoted Jari-Mati Latvala.

Printsport, founded by Raikkonen, operates near Jiveskile. In recent years, the team has worked closely with the Toyota WRC team, whose base is also located in Jyväskylä, and this collaboration with the rally powerhouse, Toyota, led by Latvala since 2021, will now become even closer.

Sami Pajari competed in the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 car prepared by Printsport in the 2024 season and won the WRC2 championship title. This year, the Printsport WRC2 driver was Oliver Solberg, who repeated Pajari’s achievement. Both pilots will compete in the Toyota WRC team next year.

The acquisition of the new Latvala team has not been cheap. In 2024, Printsport’s turnover reached 6.4 million euros, while the profit was 208,000 euros. The company’s valuation shows that its value is safely in the range of several million euros.

Raikkonen will continue to lead Printsport’s day-to-day operations as CEO, a position he has held for 28 years. This will allow Latvala to focus on his duties as Toyota team leader, as well as on the starts in the European Historic Rally Championship.

The next season promises to be very busy for the Printsport team, as it is planned to participate in all 14 stages of the WRC. The team pilot will be the Japanese Yuki Yamamoto, a member of the Toyota WRC Challenge program.

In addition to Toyota Rally2 cars, Printsport has previously competed with Škoda Rally2 equipment, but for the Latvala portal RallyJournal.com revealed that the team will focus exclusively on Toyota cars from now on.

Latvala is the sole owner of JML-WRT Oy, founded in February 2025. The deputies of the company board are Tom Fowler and Yuichiro Haruna, both well-known representatives of the Toyota WRC organization, who will support Latvala in the new team project. Fowler is Toyota’s technical director, while Haruna is the CEO of TGR-WRT Oy.
