Kleindienst Comeback: Timetable Revealed

Tim Kleindienst has now commented on his comeback schedule. The Borussia Mönchengladbach captain, who had to undergo an arthroscopy on his knee in December, says he hopes to return towards the end of January or mid-February. The 30-year-old said that on the sidelines of the Darts World Cup in London.

“I hope that by the end of January or mid-February I will be completely ready again,” explained Kleindienst. After his comeback at the end of November, he only completed three short missions before another reaction occurred in his knee and the operation became necessary. The striker spoke of a “little story” that had to be cleared up.

Kleindienst basically confirms the previous assessment of the downtime, but itself suggests a return in February. It is still unclear whether he will travel with the team to the mini-training camp or continue his rehab in Mönchengladbach. The captain is therefore initially not an option for the upcoming competitive games.
