INTERVIEWS Adriano Bertaccini saw that his team did not make a good impression in the first half against Genk in the Belgian Cup. “We gave Genk too much space,” he analyzed. “However, we showed a different face in the second half,” he added. Bertaccini followed a shot from Mario Stroeykens well and scored the equalizer; his nose for goals spoke. “I took advantage of the ball coming back to me to put it into the goal,” he said.
Beforehand, there had been a lot of commotion about Bertaccini’s past at Genk. “I still had some things to put right against Genk after my time with the youth teams here,” he said.
