Arcieri dell’Olmo: Cameri Archery Successes

CAMERI – At the «Sport3» multifunctional center in Cameri the Olmo Archers are still hitting the target for two days, between last Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 December, at the distance of 18 meters indoors. The competition, organized by the Cameri Archers, represented the tasty 15th edition of the «City of Cameri Gorgonzola Trophy». Satisfactory results in particular thanks to the summations of the individual scores which allowed the team of the “senior male” class, in the bare bow specialty, to climb to the top step of the podium. The three record-breaking Lomellini were the president of the association, Antonio Torchia, Roberto Chiodo and Matteo Garavaglia (in the photo in the center). But our local Robin Hoods also performed well in the women’s classes, where the trio formed by Raffaella Bellan, Giorgia Nagari and Marta Panizza (in the photo on the left) equaled their colleagues in the men’s sector by obtaining first place in the “senior female” class, but in the Olympic arch specialty. In particular, in the men’s field, Olmo was able to embrace the sixth place of Antonio Torchia, the seventh of Matteo Garavaglia, the eleventh of Roberto Chiodo and the 25th of Matteo Panizza, with the latter involved in the “male master” class of the Olympic arch. Nineteenth Federico Sempio, again in the Olimpico, for the “senior male” class. Furthermore, on an individual level: second Raffaella Bellan, third Giorgia Nagari and just off the podium, fourth Marta Panizza.
