If the French singles players have decided to skip the Kumamoto Masters, the mixed pair Gicquel/Delrue is continuing its adventure in Japan. The French duo qualified for the quarter-finals after their convincing victory this Thursday against the Taiwanese Chen/Hsu (21-17, 21-13).
Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue will face the Danes Boje/Christiansen this Friday, who beat them in the final of the Hylo Open two weeks ago. Bronze medalists at the last World Championships, the French are getting closer to qualifying for the World Tour Finals, even if nothing is yet certain in terms of accounting.
