Jonathan Taylor leads list of potential NFL trade targets

The National Football League trade deadline is rapidly approaching, with franchises holding until Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. ET to finalize deals.

Rebuilding rosters are positioned to stockpile draft picks, while Super Bowl contenders look for missing pieces. Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor occupies the top spot on the list. The Colts already traded Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, leaving the 27-year-old running back as the next prominent name to watch, with Minnesota viewed as a logical landing spot.

Khalil Mack and Brian Thomas Jr. Lead Veteran and Young Trade Targets

Los Angeles Chargers veteran pass rusher Khalil Mack ranks second. At 35 years old, his sack totals have dipped, but he still generates consistent pressure on quarterbacks. Because his contract expires at the end of the season, he represents a low-risk addition for interested clubs like the Chicago Bears.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. rounds out the top three. After a productive rookie campaign, he no longer fits cleanly into Liam Coen’s offense, making an early move possible before his market value shifts. Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker and defensive end Josh Sweat also land inside the top five as potential assets from a selling roster.

Tennessee Titans and New York Jets Roster Decisions

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard sits at sixth following the team’s trade of Jeffery Simmons to Chicago. Other notable names include New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson, along with Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby and quarterback Kirk Cousins. The Jets have maintained they do not intend to trade Wilson despite external interest, while Cousins remains an option for a contender seeking short-term stability under center.

Colts wide receiver Josh Downs also appears on the board after reportedly requesting a trade ahead of his contract expiration. Meanwhile, Chargers safety Derwin James was placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, sidelining him for at least four games and effectively removing him from trade discussions.

All transactions must be submitted to the league office before the deadline concludes on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET.
