With his victory in the semi -finals of the US Open 2025, Alcaraz extended his winning streak to twelve games. The Spaniard has reached the final at the last eight tournaments in April in April.
Alcaraz has contested a total of seven Grand Slam final participants and is the third place on the list of players under the age of 23 with the most Grand Slam final participants.
He is only 1 behind Björn Borg (Sweden) and Rafael Nadal (Spain).
Alcaraz will be 23 in May 2026 and the Spaniard can achieve at least one more Grand Slam final (Australian Open 2026) to achieve the success of the two older players.
Alcaraz has also been the fourth player since 2000, who reached the US Open final without submitting a sentence. Before Alcaraz, only Roger Federer (2015), Rafael Nadal (2010) and Lleyton Hewitt (2004) succeeded.
The 22-year-old Spaniard would rise to the top of the ATP ranking if Jannik Sinner did not reach the US Open 2025 final. On the contrary, Alcaraz would have to defeat Sinner in the final in order to move in 1st place in the world rankings.
