«I am very satisfied with the work done in recent months – he says to Milazzo 24 – the construction site is dynamic and challenging, with stringent deadlines, and this has allowed me to get involved and learn a lot. It is a bit like if it were an Olympiad for us, we hear the responsibility for the work we are doing ».
The engineer Mamertino was hired a year ago together with 17 other young professionals.
«One of the reasons that prompted me to work in this construction site was to have a woman as a technical director of the construction site, which I consider very important to date, as years ago it would have been unthinkable. Having a woman who holds managerial positions is a source of pride and source of inspiration for me and for all young women who undertake careers considered exclusively “male” until recently. In fact, I take this opportunity to thank Eng. Denise Noverofor believing in me from the first moment ».

The track is 1650 meters long and provided for an investment of 85 million euros. This year, in March, the pre-homologation of the track took place which saw the commitment and dedication of people of 21 different nationalities, a great example of integration and collaboration aimed at the realization of an important common project, the result of innovation, quality and technical skills. The term of the works is scheduled in November.

«It is difficult to describe in a nutshell what it meant for me this year: it was a wonderful experience, full of challenges, growth and satisfaction. I was lucky enough to work with a fantastic team, from which I learned a lot every day. In this time I had the opportunity to test myself, grow professionally and, even more precious, to meet extraordinary people who left me something important – some of whom have become real friendships that I will bring with me forever ».
His face for days has been among the most viewed on social media. “I was chosen on the report of the DTC and the project manager as a representative of my work team to” tell “the construction site, but I did not know I ended up on the Ministry’s social pages …”.

When Claudia can return to Milazzo. «I would have liked to do my work in Sicily and contribute, in my little one, to the development of the territory, but I do not exclude that this happens in the future. To date unfortunately for young people like me it is very difficult to be able to stay to work in Sicily, as there are no conditions. I wish everyone to be able to have work experiences even outside our land to understand what is beyond the strait, but then, hoping to become possible, to return and invest in our beloved island ».
