The National University Championships for Cus Trieste in the individual sports of athletics and judo got off to a great start. In Campobasso, the expedition of the Julian university highlighted Angela De Nardi ed Enrico Fornasa, as far as martial arts are concerned. The first of her competed in the 57 kilogram category, overcoming the Cus Sassari athlete Eleonora Piras and then losing against the Parma athlete Eleonora Crescini. Second place and silver medal for De Nardi, while in the men’s 60 kilogram judo there were two victories and a knockout for Enrico Fornasawho finished in third place losing only to Yuri Rovati of Cus Milano, who became national champion.
Athletics also put a good point on the event, albeit with considerable logistical difficulties, with different distances to cover between the track, reception facilities and accommodation: “The man from Molise is a splendid person and I would say that despite the logistical difficulties the event went more than well, I would sign up to have the results we had this year”, the words of the sporting director Davide Marion. Moving on to the results, Anna Blonde she became Italian university champion in the 100 meters hurdles, running 14”11 in the final, with Giulia girl in second place. In the women’s 800 meters, silver medal for Giulia Menegale behind Maria Colajanni (Cus Palermo), while other yellow-blue male and female athletes obtained further placings: in the women’s 100 metres, twenty-first place for Arianna Gubertiniwho then achieved a seventeenth place in the women’s 200 meters.
At the male level, Marco Stepancich he finished with a thirteenth place in the 100 meters and a sixth in the 200, while Luciano Check them out he placed tenth in the 800 meters and sixth in the 1,500.
