Six universities baseball support
On Saturday, April 27th, Tokyo Six Universities Baseball Cheer was held for first-year high school and first-year junior high school students. The students watched the first game between Meiji University and Waseda University, and cheered on the Meiji University Baseball Team under the direction of the Meiji University Cheer Team. There were concerns about the weather on the day, but the match was held without any rain.
In an evenly matched game, Meiji University had a chance to load the bases in the 9th inning, but fell one short and lost 4-5. The students, together with the university’s cheering team, cheered loudly until the end. Although the result of the game was disappointing, it was a fulfilling day for the students, who deepened their interest in baseball and love for their school by singing the school song and cheering songs and waving purple towels together with their new friends.
