Just 51 kilometers separate Bundesliga club Bochum and second division club Düsseldorf. A Rhine-Ruhr derby for EVERYTHING. Fortuna wants to be promoted and VfL wants to stay in the league after the club unexpectedly slipped to 16th place on the last matchday.
Düsseldorf wins 3-0 in front of Bayern star Leon Goretzka (29). The Bochum native cheers on his training club (2001 to 2013) from the stands in the iconic rainbow jersey.

Tzolis outwits Bochum three times
Tzolis then showed his outstanding form early on. The Greek curled a corner straight at the goal. The ball hit the post, bounced off Bochum’s Philipp Hofmann (31) on the thigh and rolled over the line – a bitter own goal after a magical corner to make it 0:1 (13th). Sly. Brilliant. Outstanding – Tzolis!

For Bochum, on the other hand, bad luck: Shortly after falling behind, Bernardo (29) failed to hit the inside post with a header (16th minute). Bochum could hardly think of anything, but Tzolis had a lot more. 64th minute: Great counterattack, the Greek set up Felix Klaus (31) perfectly – 0:2.
Then Tzolis almost made it clear that he would be promoted: he curled a free kick around the wall, Bochum’s substitute keeper Luthe made a mistake and let the ball bounce forward. Yannik Engelhardt only had to push it in – 0:3 (72′).
