Belgium, land of talents. However, some are quickly spotted by foreign clubs in order to continue their progress outside our borders.
This is the case of Madi Monamay. He is a young player aged 18 playing as a central defender. He plays for Bayer Leverkusen.
Trained at KV Woluwé Zaventem, Monamay joined Oud-Heverlee Louvain in 2018. He then signed for Genk. He will play for Limburg from 2019 to 2022.
In the summer of 2022, Bayer Leverkusen is knocking at the door. He joined the U19 team. He is gradually becoming an important player.
This season, still with the U19s, he played 24 championship matches – a total to which must be added 3 German Cup matches among young people.
According to information from Sacha Tavolieri, while he is under contract until 2025, Monamay will be available this summer for a permanent transfer or a loan. He would be ready to return to Belgium.
