The Vila de Rei Municipal Field will host, on April 24th, Wednesday, a Regional Walking Football Meeting.
The initiative is organized by the Castelo Branco Football Association, with the support of the Vilaregense Municipality and the Senior University of Vila de Rei, and will take place between 10am and 12pm.
For this Meeting, the teams from Universidade Sénior de Vila de Rei, Academia Sénior de Oleiros, Walking Football Covilhã and USALBI – Universidade Sénior Albicastrense have already been confirmed.
Walking Football is an adapted form of football, walking, designed for people aged 50 and over and which aims to encourage sports practice. But not only. Promoting integration and group coexistence in favor of a more active life are other goals that also make it possible to combat isolation, sedentary lifestyle, depression and improve health indices.
