‘Champion-27’ is an in-house sports tournament in which all departments of Pohang Steel Works participate.

The competition runs from May to October, and employees team up with department members to compete in five sports, including badminton, foot volleyball, FC Online, League of Legends, and screen golf.

Pohang Steel Works is strengthening communication between generations by having the 2030 and 4050 generations participate in each event together.

In the first event of the competition, ‘Badminton Doubles’, which started the preliminary round on May 1, the iron making department, plate department, STS rolling department, and iron making equipment department advanced to the finals. The competition was held at the POSCO Hanmadang Gymnasium on the 22nd, and the iron making equipment department took the final place. won.

‘Champion-27’ plans to continue the competition by starting the foot volleyball preliminary round on June 1 after finishing the badminton doubles event on this day.
