OSV nominates 28 active players for the European Championships in Belgrade

On Wednesday, the Austrian Swimming Association (OSV) announced the nomination of 28 athletes for the European Championships from June 10 to 23 in Belgrade – eleven women and 17 men. In long-course swimming, eight women will be led by short-course European Championship third-place finisher Lena Kreundl and 13 men will be led by vice-world champion Simon Bucher and former short-course world champion Felix Auböck. The European Championships still count towards Olympic qualification in pool swimming.

In addition, in synchronized swimming there are the promising triplets Anna-Maria, Eirini-Marina and Vasiliki Alexandri, the water jumping trio Anton Knoll, Nico Schaller and Dariush Lotfi as well as open water swimmer Jan Hercog. The first week of the European Championships is for synchronized and open water swimming competitions, the second for divers and pool swimmers.
