María José Sánchez, member of the Ronda Badminton Club, continues her evolution in the world of refereeing in this sport. Last weekend she participated from the chair in the Spanish Parabadminton International Level II 2024 tournament, held at the Aranalde sports center in the Basque city of Vitoria.
The Rondeña had an outstanding performance as a member of the referee team in a tournament in which Paralympic athletes were playing to qualify for the Paris Games, which will be held this summer in the French capital.
Representing Ronda, with referees from different parts of the world, Sánchez immersed himself in an international challenge for the first time, which could be met thanks to the call by the CNAB (National Committee of Badminton Referees).
At the national level, she already had the opportunity to referee the 2023 Spanish Senior Championship in Benalmádena and on this occasion, the Rondeña has already had the opportunity to referee future Paralympic medalists internationally, putting together a great performance.
