Champions Real Madrid achieved an easy and convincing victory in the Spanish league. FC Granada had no chance at 4-0. FC Barcelona also scored three points against San Sebastián.
The Catalans won 2-0 (1-0) against Real Sociedad San Sebastian on the fourth-to-last matchday. With 76 points, Barca moved past the surprise team of FC Girona (75). Girona only managed a 2-2 draw against CD Alavés. Real Madrid already has the title secured.
With Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Ilkay Gündogan and Robert Lewandowski in the starting line-up, Barcelona initially struggled. But little by little the home team took control and rewarded themselves in the 40th minute with the lead through the 16-year-old Lamine Yamal after preparatory work by Gündogan. In the third minute of stoppage time, Raphinha made everything clear with a converted penalty according to video evidence.
Real doesn’t give Granada a chance
Real Madrid had previously shown Granada FC their limits. Fran Garcia (38th), Arda Güler (45th + 2) and Brahim Diaz (49th, 59th) scored the guests’ goals. In contrast to the win against Bayern Munich (2-1), coach Carlo Ancelotti changed his team to ten positions, only national player Antonio Rüdiger remained in the starting line-up. Toni Kroos, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham initially sat on the bench.
