Pedro Acosta, a racer belonging to KTM Red Bull Gasgas, gave his views regarding a suitable rider to accompany Bagnaia on the Ducati Lenovo.

If he could choose, Acosta would pair Pecco with Jorge Martin, not Marc Marquez.

“If it were up to me, I would choose the first rider in the World Championship with 40 points,” Acosta was reported as saying Motosan.

This confirms what he means is the leader of the 2024 MotoGP standings, Jorge Martin.

On the other hand, Acosta’s team, KTM is reportedly interested in bringing in Marquez even though there has been no official statement.

Acosta himself does not feel threatened by the rumors.

“I’m calm (about the possibility of Marquez going to KTM),” he continued.(mcr15/jpnn)
