Jürgen Klopp is moving back to the Rhine-Main area: He is building a house in Hesse. Now he explained with emotion which tiny object will be given a place of honor.

Wiesbaden – Jürgen Klopp’s time at Anfield Road is over: The Premier League season ended a few days ago and the 56-year-old has given up his coaching position at Liverpool FC. What will happen next in his career? The Stuttgart native has not yet commented on the matter. One thing is certain, however: Klopp will increasingly be drawn to Hesse.

New house in Wiesbaden: Jürgen Klopp moves to Wiesbaden

Because here, in the Sonnenberg district of Wiesbaden, a two-storey building is being built that is due to be handed over this year. Klopp wants to be closer to his family in Hesse. Background: The son of Ulla Sandrock, wife of the ex-LFC coach, became a father for the first time in the summer of 2023. And the 56-year-old is practically a grandfather. “Finally, I not only look like one, I am one too. That’s cool,” he said in an interview some time ago.

Now things seem to be getting serious in Wiesbaden. The interior is already a topic of discussion, as is clear from a YouTube video. The scene: The 56-year-old sits at his desk, opening fan mail in front of a camera team from Liverpool FC. Among other things, this one small package. “What is that?” he asks when he sees it. But as soon as the small machine makes its first sounds, the ex-coach starts to smile. It is a small music box that plays the melody of the Beatles hit “I feel fine”, which also has a second meaning for Klopp.

Jürgen Klopp song to be played in Wiesbaden

“It’s beautiful,” he says, thinking back with some certainty to his time at Anfield Road. Liverpool FC fans had rewritten “I feel fine” into a song in honour of Jürgen Klopp. There they then say to the tune of the Beatles in the stadium:

I‘m so glad that Jürgen is a Red. I‘m so glad he delivered what he said. Jürgen said to me, you know, we‘ll win the Premier League, you know. He said so. I‘m in love with him and I feel fine.

And then the video suddenly turns to Hesse: “We are building a house in Germany,” says Klopp in the YouTube clip, referring to the new building in Wiesbaden. Never in his life had he thought that he would need a trophy room. But that has now, at this moment, changed. “I won’t be there often, but when the time comes, I will do it,” promises Klopp and lets the music box run again.
