With a very special marketing campaign, the German Football Association (DFB) wants to further strengthen the anticipation and solidarity before the European Championships.

The official announcement of the DFB squad by national coach Julian Nagelsmann is actually planned for Thursday afternoon. EM 2024: Bitter end for Hummels and Goretzka
According to several consistent media reports, Nagelsmann will not give Leon Goretzka or Mats Hummels a European Championship ticket.
According to Sky Sport reporter Kerry Hau, Goretzka has already been informed of the decision.
DFB squad for EM 2024: Arsenal professional Kai Havertz nominated

The DFB’s very first surprise on Sunday was BVB star Nico Schlotterbeck. In the main broadcast of the Tagesschau at 8 p.m., spokesman Jens Riewa announced the news, which had not previously been announced by any official website.
The DFB’s Instagram account reposted a compilation of the Tagesschau article and thus started its big surprise campaign. Fans were already able to look forward to the next nomination on Monday morning.

The first fan announced Jonathan Tah’s participation. Geriatric nurse Rashid Hamid surprised resident “Grandma Lotti” on Monday with a football jersey – and a cake with the name of the nominated defender on it.

The baked goods motif also ran through the nominations on Tuesday. A bakery in Nagold, Baden-Würtemberg, took over the nomination for VfB star Chris Führich.

EM 2024: Manuel Neuer is of course there
A European Championship participant from the old iron announced a roofer from Bochum on Monday evening. In a video on Instagram, the influencer explained that Manuel Neuer will once again be number 1 for the German national team.
When will the entire European Championship squad be announced?
So far, six players have been officially nominated through the “Our Squad for Germany” campaign. With several posts per day, many fans are now looking forward to the European Championships.
National coach Julian Nagelsmann will then announce the remaining players for the provisional European Championship squad at a press conference on Thursday. It is unclear whether this is initially the so-called provisional squad or the final line-up with a maximum of 26 players.
FC Bayern did not officially say goodbye to Thomas Tuchel at the last home game of the season on Sunday afternoon, but this should not be an indication of a collaboration that may extend beyond the summer.
