In women’s singles, world No. 1 Ahn Se-young and 13th-ranked Kim Ga-eun (Samsung Life Insurance) confirmed their trip to Paris. In women’s doubles and mixed doubles, two Taegeuk Warriors teams will each compete on the Olympic stage. The Korean national team, which won one gold medal (women’s singles), two silver medals (men’s doubles, women’s doubles), and two bronze medals (women’s doubles, mixed doubles) at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, is determined to continue its upward trend at the Paris Olympics. At the previous 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Korea won one bronze medal in women’s doubles.
