Holger Rune Struggles to Find Form Ahead of Roland Garros

The weeks go by and look the same for Holger Rune, beaten yesterday in three sets by the Argentinian Baez (6−2, 2–6, 3–6).

The one who was once designated as a real outsider who could challenge the biggest is back in line with performances unworthy of a top 10 player. That’s good, he should be 13th this Monday.

Unless there is a last minute change by requesting an invitation to Geneva or Lyon, Holger will arrive at Roland Garros completely physically fresh, this is almost the only good news concerning him since Monte Carlo.

Sluggish in Munich, poorly performing in Madrid, he was unable to raise the level of play yesterday against Baez who still remains a very solid clay court player.
