Content

The French team finished just off the podium in the Open compound mixed event this Thursday morning in Rome, Italy. The Blues were beaten in the final by Great Britain.

Arrived early on the competition field this morning, Julie Rigault-Chupin and Thierry Joussaume were looking forward to their mixed team bronze medal match scheduled for late morning. From the first end, the French found themselves caught by time and were 12 points behind. A handicap that the duo tried to overcome in the following ends, without however managing to prove dangerous for the British. The last volley of the French archers leaves no doubt and allows Great Britain to recover the bronze medal. Final score 147 points to 132 in favor of Great Britain.
