French Nature Shooting Championship: Bruno Guillemet Represents Flèche Créchoise

From May 17 to 19, 2024, the French nature shooting championship took place, organized by the Mongiscard club in Haute-Garonne. Wild shooting is an archery discipline that is practiced in groups of 5 on a course of several targets made up of animal targets. Among the 528 competitors registered for this French championship, Flèche Créchoise was represented by Bruno Guillemet, accustomed to the different disciplines of the course. “The first objective is above all to have fun. You never know what to expect depending on the route. That’s what I like about nature shooting. For this championship, they were hilly and a little technical but that’s what I prefer”, explains Bruno Guillemet. At the end of this French championship, the Créchois archer placed 6th in the senior 3 barebow category. This is a very good place for Bruno Guillemet, positioned 17th in the national ranking. “The podium was accessible but I did less well on the second day. I am still satisfied with my participation in the French championship. Now, I am focusing on field shooting and 3D shooting where I should also qualify for each of the respective French championships. At the beginning of June, I will compete in the regional field shooting near Limoges. This will help me get an idea. » Note that a second Créchois was present in this championship: Bernard Auzanneau officiated as a referee during this competition.
