NAfter the gala in Vienna’s Prater, the Diving Ducks also won at home against the Vienna Wanderers. This time the game was much closer.
Revenge was on the agenda for the Vienna Wanderers. Just the day before they beat the Diving Ducks Wr. in the evening game 19:4. Neustadt lost. After Dominik Talir’s lightning start, nothing happened on the scoresheets until the fourth inning. Moritz Scheicher equalized there after a single from Melvin Perdue. In the fifth inning the guests from Wr. Neustadt then took the lead through Elias Kreska.
In the sixth inning, both teams scored twice: Julian Faulhaber and Jonas Kreska for the Ducks, Alexander Resel and Christoph Hoscher for the Wanderers. Then the fans in the Spenadlwiese Ballpark had to wait again until Eoghan McGarry scored after a single from Scheicher to make the final score 5:3.
