Decryption: Willis, Toulouse metal trap for Leinster

“100 Minutes to Survive” or “Metal Trap”? We hesitated between two references to the filmography of Bruce Willis when choosing the title of this paper. Everyone ultimately fit Jack Willis’ performance quite well. “100 minutes to survive” was a nod to the duration of this match (without stoppage time) played in its entirety by the Englishman, intensely, without weakening, and doing everything to prevent a (possible ) Toulouse defeat. “Metal trap” is what he gave the impression of being. A guy made from a material resistant to all shocks, and whose gestures, one after the other, seemed to stifle Leinster’s game. So we opted for “Metal Trap”, that’s why.
