The judo section of the Migennes Sports Association and Railway Union (ASUCM) has changed offices. Thierry Lataste became president at the beginning of April. Nelly Rodrigues is secretary, Anita Bodet treasurer and Annabelle Dubain in charge of communications.

“So I stopped training because since May 3, I have been president of the Yonne judo committee,” comments the president. It was therefore necessary to find a new coach at the club.

A podium for Alexandre Noël, 12 years old

Luckily, Baptiste Fondelot, 43, arrived in Migennes in 2022 as the city’s social mediator. He is a graduate and is a 2nd dan black belt. A relief for the office to continue the work put in place. Two judokas, Kévin Mahieu and Erwan Breuillé, also 2nd dan, are currently undergoing training to obtain the diploma.

Last Monday, everyone was gathered at the Cosec des Mignottes dojo after the last competition of the four young members in Besançon, the day before. Alexandre Noël, 12 years old, climbed onto the first step of the podium in Bourgogne Franche-Comté, just as he did at Yonne and then Burgundy. Imran Khatiri 3rd, Imanol Fondelot 5th and Noheila Dahmani 7th also represent the future of the club. Note that Agathe Piot will participate in the French Club Cup in Ceyrat (Puy-de-Dôme).

Finally, Daniel Henry has been with the club since 2017, after having been a member of Héry’s for a long time, has just celebrated his 80th birthday, adorned with his 3rd black belt.
