Adapei Archery Section Shines in Local Championships and Nationals

The Adapei archery section of the local arch company is doing well and had a very good championship this season. Christelle, Gérard, Benoit, the two Rémi and Camille took advantage of a competition stay in Alsace to collect a harvest of medals. Last weekend, other archers were in Albi, to aim for the bullseye and compete bow in hand.

In outdoor archery (TAE), a discipline practiced outdoors on flat ground (often on equipped football fields) which is shot over 2 series at 70 meters Jordan, Miroslav and Virginie win their category and Vincent finishes at the 5th place. In national level outdoor archery (TAEN), Tuana and Malo won the event while Virginie and Thomas climbed to the third step of the podium. Note the personal bests for Jordan, Tuana, Virginie and Thomas. To congratulate the Handimut club with Bastien at the head of the queue for their great organization as usual. Remember that just like indoor shooting, the TAE competition has several starts at the organizer’s choice. It is made up of a qualifying shot for the national, a qualifying shot with or without a final for the international.

In national shooting as in international shooting, the archer shoots 12 volleys of 6 arrows divided into 2 series of 6 volleys. The faces are English targets. To conclude, Ewen, the last representative of the Appamean arc company, achieved the feat of passing the Cut individually during the D1 stage in Smarves, where he lost in the round of 16 against the future winner and favorite for the Olympic selections Thomas Chirault, during a very nice match. The competition continues and the boys are entered in the second stage of the regional excellence division in Rodez.
