On May 12th (Sunday), Fukuoka University and Seinan Gakuin University will hold the “Fukunishi Match” and “Cheering Battle” at Kasuga Stadium, marking a 75-year history in the Kyushu Six Universities Baseball Spring League match.

・2024 Spring League Final Game
This match against Fukunishi is scheduled to be the final match of the spring league, which will be played 30 times in total. (During the league, the schedule may change depending on the weather, and it may not be the final game.)
・Aiming for a complete win for the second consecutive season
In last year’s fall league, Fukuoka University’s hardball baseball team achieved a complete victory. We aim to win all the games this season and qualify for the All-Japan University Baseball Championship.
・A heated support battle that transcends boundaries
In the Fukunishi match, cheering teams from both universities will compete. The cheering guidance department (cheering team, cheerleaders, brass band) and the Japanese drum club (Komaizaru) come to support, and students, alumni, faculty, staff, and international students gather to form a large cheering squad. Last year, about 300 people came together as a huge cheering squad and held an amazing cheering battle. After the participants practice cheering before the game, they head to the stadium in chartered buses and come together as one to enliven the excitement of the battle.[Contact information]
