TSV Abensberg Dominates Judo Easter Tournament in Passau

The judo Easter tournament in Passau offers the ideal introduction to the season or the first experience of competition for all age groups. For TSV Abensberg it was a trip with a rich haul of medals.

In the age groups U11, U13, U15 and adults, the judoka can compete and get the necessary routine for a league or individual championships. The Nippon 2000 Passau association has been organizing the tournament for many years. At the 22nd edition, one or two TSV protégés were even able to hold their own in two age groups. Laura Harroider and Jasmin Lochen (U11/U13) as well as Radu Ivan (U15/men) were there as coaches.

In the U11 age group, first places went to Emilia Nuss, Katniss Kümper and Leon Göttl. Nancy Kruse, Justine Tischler, Josif Haidara, Matthias Felsky, Jona Schröter and Lennard Sauerwald took second place. Xaver Mader took third place.

In the U13, Adrian Kruse and Karolina Marszeniuk took home a tournament victory – which they also achieved in the U15. Sophie Felsky and Leon Göttl, who had also won in the U11, also finished first in the U13. Emilia Nuss with second place and Robin Kutil-Briegert and Artem Wilhelm with third places completed the haul.

Hannes Richter was another winner in the U15 alongside Marszeniuk and Kruse. Second places went to Sofia Knoll, Mirek Marszeniuk and Mara Fricke. Jonas Mayer finally won his weight class among men. Talal Alali took third place.
