“Monferrato Basket Teen Licei”, the ParentesiKuadra branded basketball tournament dedicated to high schools in our area, took place on Monday 8 April at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris.
A beautiful morning of sport and joy which involved boys and girls from the various institutes and which saw the Sobrero 1 team triumph in the final against Sobrero 2.
Six teams at the starting line: two from Balbo, one from Leardi, one from Luparia and the two from Sobrero. Each quintet within it had to present a mix of male and female players.
On the pitch were many kids registered for Campus Monferrato, a satellite company of Monferrato Basket that collaborated in the creation of this event together with the main sponsor Novipiù.
The matches were refereed by First Team players Seraphin Kadjividi, Tommaso Fantoma, Tommy Pianegonda and Andrea Calzavara.
Final group photo with the sole administrator of ParentesiKuadra Gianpiero Berrone and the Sports Councilor of Casale Monferrato Luca Novelli, while the awards ceremony on the field (a beautiful SMART Serie Gx 75” screen – 4K UHD – Android which will be made available to the Sobrero having won the Tournament) will take place on Sunday 21 April during the interval of the match between Novipiù Monferrato Basket and Umana Chiusi. On that occasion, all the boys who participated in the Tournament will be present in the stands.
