In the midst of a “useless” clock final phase for many and with many “strange” results in which the strongest very often continue to lose against the weakest due to mere ranking calculations, for the Trieste Basketball there won’t be any need to… duck tomorrow in front of theUrania Milan. Because, with the pursuers continuing to win (and since last night Cividale – with the home victory against Casale Monferrato and yet another consecutive pearl of the last few months – together with Rimini it’s at just two points away from the red and whites), per definitively secure fifth place in the regular season you only need to win. And this undeniably gives extreme importance to the forty minutes on Sunday in Valmaura (two-ball at 6pm).
If on the Milanese side, with the playoff qualification already in their pocket, they can face the away match in Via Flavia with less pressure than the Giulians (even if Urania is at 28 points together with Cremona and Treviglio and has concrete possibilities of still grabbing the fifth place in the Green group), all the spotlights are on the team Jamion Christian. That, if in away he hasn’t been able to get anything out of his hole for months (and this is an issue that will necessarily have to be resolved in the playoffs), in the home environment instead he seems to have found the right continuity again, with the last three consecutive home victories.
