With their consent The Federal Office of Administration (BVA) uses the Matomo service for web analysis. The BVA uses Matomo to evaluate user activity and access numbers on the service.bund.de website for website optimization. For this purpose, information is read from your device via Javascript and processed pseudonymously by Matomo. The data collected will not be shared with third parties and will be stored for 30 days. For the visitor logs, Matomo records the shortened, pseudonymized IP address, date and time stamp of the request, title and URL of the website visited, URL of the previously visited page (referrer URL), screen resolution used, time zone used, files clicked or downloaded, outgoing links clicked other websites, return page, duration of page generation, browser language used, browser, plugins and operating system.
The user is assigned a user ID (pseudonym) by Matomo for the duration of their stay on servce.bund.de. During analysis, the data record for a user is identified by the user ID. No IP address is provided in the web statistics.
The visitor logs are only evaluated in the restricted area of ​​service.bund.de (no identification of the provider or use of Geo-IP, no multi-domain tracking) and deleted after 30 days.
Consent to data processing is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR and Section 25 Paragraph 2 Number 2 TTDSG
