According to BILD information, the new sports director Max Eberl (50) is said to have chosen Nagelsmann as the clear favorite. But the DFB would also like to extend Nagelsmann’s contract beyond the home European Championship.
Eberl did not want to comment on the name Nagelsmann. He says about the trainer search: “We want to do it as quickly as possible because we simply want planning security. But we don’t want to rush anything now. We want to do the best possible for Bavaria.”
